AMACO Velvet Underglaze - V-361 Jet Black - 烏黑釉下彩

Jet Black Velvet Underglaze is a cool black color that is smooth and velvety at cone 05, darkens at cone 5, and becomes darkest black and slightly glossy at cone 10. A clear glaze deepens and accentuates the underglaze significantly at any temperature.

Jet Black Velvet Underglaze may be muted when used under SM-10 Clear Satin. 

SM-10 Clear Satin is a silky, stiff zinc-free clear glaze that works well as a liner or over underglazes. Use 2 coats over underglazes to show the color.

Due to variations in raw materials used during manufacturing, we recommend firing glazed test tiles before using each new batch number of glaze.

*Our version of V-361 (both 2oz & 16oz) has been repackaged for better usage. There is no dilution or processing, and the firing effect is the same.
